We have donated almost 10,000 masks since March 2020
Masks of Love was created in Western North Carolina in March 2020 as a response to our community shortage of PPE in the face of Covid 19. It began as an all volunteer effort to get cloth masks into the hands of those that needed them most. Local people sewed thousands of masks, and donated materials and money to help protect health care workers and vulnerable community members. In 2021 Masks of Love grew into a business that provided local jobs while continuing to donate masks to those in need. Today, though scaled back, we continue to sell and donate masks.
